Good news we have a date to move into the new house. Next Friday the 27th Yeah!!!

Floor boards are now in and polished and just the carpet and a bit of touch up painting to go.

Mirboo fencing now up at the sides of the house. The Children now will not escape.

Got to the house today and snapped a few pictures. Builder thinks it will be 4-5 weeks till we are in. Mmmm I think 7-8 weeks.

Stairs now added!

Most of the kitchen is now in, just need bench top, basin, stove, dishwasher.

A few things happened this week. The house got a paint. 'Sea Mist' Bit hard to pick up on the crappy iphone camera.

Next week should see the kitchen going in as well as finishing the plaster.

Hit an important milestone with 'Lockup', now complete.

Front. Upper deck fence needs finishing.

Back, the sliding doors are in place. The deck fence is up.

Lots of action....

Cladding starting to go up today.

The Garage roof is now on.

Prior to the cladding they put this green shinny insulation stuff up. Not really sure what it does.

The rear deck now has the sliding doors in place.

Lots has happened this week....

The Majority of the frame is up. All that needs to be done is the roof for the garage.The garage also got a slab of concrete (no picture sorry).
The bottom of the house got a skirting board from the ground to the floor.

About half the windows are now in.

Lastly a look from the rear. The decking flooring still looking like it needs to be done.

Hard to see what has been happening but there is a bit of work around the place.
The rear deck beams have now been cemented in.

There is a small landing under the rear deck. That is now up.

Lastly the flooring for the second floor has now been put into place. Its a bit hard to see in the photo, but it is there.

The rear deck went up today, also 1/2 the joists for the deck. Big beams, looked a tricky job.

A fair bit of work today. The joists for the second floor were put in place.

The front deck was also put in place, for the upstairs front bedroom.

The bottom story is now completed of the frame which is exciting.

At the back of the house you can see there is a fair bit of material, which looks like it is for the joists and floor for up stairs.

Lastly also a bit of work done under the house with plubming from bathroom, and toilets

Its nice to see thing going vertical. The frame is going up! So far about 1/3 of the ground floor. The bathroom, toilet, laundry and rumpus room.

After a bit of a delay 10 or so days. Things are moving again. Looks like the bearers/joists ? were put in place over the stumps today.

A bit more material on hand. left to right. More timber for the joists/ bearers. floor boards, timber columns for the deck.

Some happening between Thursday and today.

It looks like a bit of scaffold. I'd say this is for the second story component of the house.

Busy day today. Just about all of the stumps were put in place, except those supporting the deck. Interesting a combination of cement and timber.

Bit of action on the block today. It appears the downpipes as well as the holes for the stumps have been dug.
