Just got back from a stroll down Cowes main street. Certainly a good feeling in the air...

The closest I got to Casey Stoner, only watched for a tick.

Moto GP, Phillip Island

Just got back from the run to kinda in San Remo from Cowes. Lots of bikes and lots of police. There is no way I'd want to be on a bike in this weather.

Update from the abc on how things are going::

Further rain is forecast for later in the day, with more wet weather also expected for qualifying on Saturday, organisers said on the race's website.
The rain had caused sand to spread onto parts of the track and staff had been deployed to sweep it off.

 Looks like I won't be doing much at all this week end.
