House building :: 22

Ok I've bee a bit slack here, but we are now in the house!

We are still living out of boxes. They should be gone in a year or so. The next couple of weeks we are getting some boarders, different types of soils and sand for the landscaping. We have already planted a few trees.

Lastly we are also looking into getting some solar panels.

House Building ::21

Good news we have a date to move into the new house. Next Friday the 27th Yeah!!!

Floor boards are now in and polished and just the carpet and a bit of touch up painting to go.

Mirboo fencing now up at the sides of the house. The Children now will not escape.

Getting close now, it is definitely the longest period of the whole process.

So only the wooden floor to go down, then polished, the carpet and lastly the split system. Two weeks max.

House building :: 19

Some work outside a concrete base for the water tank.

Tiling completed last week. Most probably the wooden floor to be done this week.

House Building :: 18

We were able to get inside for a look around. Christina walked around with a tape measure, poking it at windows for the curtains. A few little bits and pieces happening...
